From humble beginnings

Starting as a residential ceiling batten installer in Auckland, Barracuda Battens has grown into a specialist manufacturer of galvanised steel ceiling battens. Our battens are made by Continuous Group Auckland at their South Auckland premises in Takanini and supplied to customers across the country. We prioritise locally sourced and manufactured steel, made right here in NZ, to offer products with a lower carbon footprint than many imported alternatives. With our roll formers, we aim to produce the most environmentally friendly steel battens in the country. Whether you're building spec homes or luxury estates, Barracuda battens give you a flat, true ceiling.

Additionally, we've introduced a direct supply-only service, so customers across the country have uninterrupted access to our battens, even during demanding projects.
